Trend Micro recently announced a partnership with Telecel Vodafone. Trend Micro will provide Telecel Vodafone with anti-virus protection for millions of mailboxes in Portugal, and will also be supported by Trend Micro’s local partner, SOL-S. Vodafone, one of the world’s largest mobile telecommunications network companies, has mobile network operations in 29 countries on five continents, with a total of 93 million users worldwide (June 2001 data).
