“真没想到,为了一双运动鞋,竟出现青年记者争抢的场面。”听到青岛一位市委书记的这声叹气,作为新闻界的同行,我不禁顿时脸红。那是今年春季的事。青岛市为了扩大本市名优产品的社会影响,在北京举办了一次运动员穿青岛产的运动鞋、运动衣,骑青岛产的自行车到若干旅游点的比赛活动。其间,为了感谢新闻界的支持,赞助厂家赠送给采访的十几家新闻单位的数十名记者每人一双运动鞋。在分发鞋的时候,竟有一些青年记者一拥而上,使在场的工作人员为之愕然。

In the meantime, in order to thank the media for their support, dozens of journalists donated by manufacturers to a dozen press agencies interviewed each pair of sneakers. When distributing shoes, as many young reporters swarmed around, leaving the presence of staff stunned.
