2003年年底,李幼斌再次接受警察戏的挑战,在20集电视连续剧《第五个空弹壳》中担任男主角。剧中他扮演一位刑警,与以往不同的是,在拍摄过程中,李幼斌感觉这个人物不太像刑警,而是一个非常温和的警察。剧本故事比较离奇,这个警察娶了茹萍饰演的媳妇,以前则是陶泽如饰演的罪犯的妻子,而且这个罪犯又是他给抓进监狱的。丈夫被抓以后,妻子想自杀而将孩子扔在派出所门口,他见到后把孩子一直带在身边,后来与返回的罪犯妻子慢慢产生了感情结了婚。谁料罪犯越狱出来一心要复仇夺回妻儿,两个男人之间展开了激烈的较量。李幼斌这次的角色不再是正气昂扬的、置身于事外英勇破案的刑警,而是置身事件之中,趟入情感和破案双重纠缠的刑警,这一点跟以往的警察形象有很大不同。
At the end of 2003, Li Youbin once again took the challenge of police drama and played the leading role in the 20th episode of the television series “The Fifth Missile Shell.” In the play, he plays an Interpol. Different from what he used to be, during the filming process, Li Youbin felt that the character was not like Interpol, but rather a very modest police officer. The story is rather bizarre. The police married Ru’s wife, formerly the wife of a criminal played by Tao Ze-ru, who in turn gave him to jail. After her husband was arrested, the wife wanted to commit suicide and threw her child in front of the police station. When she saw her, she kept her child all the time and later slowly became emotionally married to the returning criminal wife. Who expected the prisoner out of one heart to revenge revenge wife and children, the two men started a fierce battle. The role of Li Youbin is no longer an upright, high-spirited police officer who has been exposed to heroic crimes by law. Instead, he has been involved in the incident and has intervened in the criminal police who are both entangled in feeling and solving crimes. This is quite different from the police image of the past.
