A Wright Wright Building designed by Adler and Sullivan, since its establishment in St. Louis in 1891, in the more than 50 years that followed, its various new technology components have almost become typical features of high-rise office buildings. . These components are: floating raft foundation, steel structure outsourcing fireproof bricks, movable partition walls, operable ventilation and lighting windows. These features of the Wainwright Mansion reflect Louis Sharman’s deep-rooted attempts to create a prototype of a multi-storey office building.
