托克逊县号称风城,8级以上的大风每年达85—103天,但是光照资源丰富,年总辐射量为140—150千卡/平方米,平原区全年≥10℃的积温在5300℃以上,年平均日照时数为3043—3224小时,年日照百分率为69%—73%,无霜期185—232天。314国道贯穿全县,离乌市160公里,南距库尔勒300公里,是南北疆的交通要道,地理条件优越,是发展大棚蔬菜的理想之地。但是长期以来土建大棚,钢筋混凝土大棚迟迟推广不开,追其原因,主要是错误的认为我县风大,不能搞大棚,更不能形成规模。
