纸马作为中国民俗版画系列中的一个神秘多趣、古奥质朴的门类,集宗教、艺术、民俗于一体。或者说,它以艺术象征的方式,在民俗生活的层面上,表达人们的巫术信仰、宗教情感和各种神秘观念,旨在追求天、地、人的抱合和神、人、鬼的互通。纸马的文化功用主要就在于满足人们在祭祀仪式中能凭此而接神、送神的需要。
Paper horse as a series of Chinese folk customs in a mysterious and fun, ancient Austrian simple categories, set religion, art, folk in one. In other words, it expresses people’s witchcraft belief, religious sentiment and various mysterious concepts on the level of folk life in the form of artistic symbolism in order to pursue the intercourse of god, person and ghost .
