On 11 March, as usual, United States journalist Manuel de Dios was awaiting his meal in a Spanish restaurant in Asturias, New York City. Suddenly an unknown young man around the age of 20 entered the restaurant, fired two shots behind Dios, and Dios was shot dead. Born in Cuba, Dios, 48, is a New York-based journalist who is best known for his relentless whipsters of corruption, drug trafficking, official scandals and human rights violations.
