The census team of cultural relics inundated area of Heilongjiang Hydropower Station, under the care and vigorous support of the leadership of the provincial government and the administrative office of the Greater Khingan Range, has successfully completed the first phase of the census of cultural relics on the right bank of the Heilongjiang River in the Greater Xing’an Mountains region and achieved gratifying results. The most northern mountainous forest and the right bank of Heilongjiang upstream also contain rich cultural relic resources. Heilongjiang River water conservancy project is a joint development project proposed by China and the Soviet Union. Above Taipinggou in Luobei County are inundated areas. According to the project needs, the upper reaches of Heilongjiang Province, which belongs to Daxinganling area, are firstly surveyed.
