中国共产党历来是一个重视学习、善于学习的政党。作为我们党第一代领导人毛泽东同志大力推动全党的学习,对建设学习型政党做出了重要的历史贡献。他要求全党特别是党员领导干部要学习马克思主义理论,学习本职工作的业务知识、科学文化知识和其它知识,在学习中坚持理论联系实际的马克思主义学作风,坚持向人民群众学习,向实践学习,并且注重建立学习制度。回顾建党90周年的历史,学习型政党在毛泽东时期已经基本形成,全面总结和深入研究毛泽东对建设学习型政党的历史贡献,对于新世纪新阶段建设学习型政党具有重要的现实意义。
