1932年,王绪阳出生于辽宁庄河,这是位于辽东半岛靠海的一个小山村。王绪阳自小喜爱画画,但身处战乱年代,却不得不经历了流亡。少年时期他流落到沈阳、抚顺一带,捡煤渣、卖报纸、伺候伤兵,饱尝了生活的困苦,也目睹了旧社会的黑暗与罪恶。1948年,鲁迅文艺学院在沈阳复校成立了东北鲁艺,王绪阳最初以解决温饱的目的报考了鲁艺,没成想却以优异的成绩被录取,从此开始了他个人艺术的新生。
In 1932, Wang Xunyang was born in Zhuanghe, Liaoning Province, which is a small mountain village near the sea in Liaodong Peninsula. Wang Xunyang loved painting since his childhood, but in the war years, he had to experience exile. When he was a teenager, he fell to Shenyang, Fushun area, picking up cinders, selling newspapers, waiting for wounded soldiers, and enjoying the hardship of life. He also witnessed the darkness and evil of the old society. In 1948, Lu Xun University of Arts and Sciences set up the northeast Luyi School in Shenyang. Wang Xunyang originally enrolled Luyi for the purpose of solving the problem of adequate food and clothing. He did not envision but was accepted with honors and began his new career as a personal art artist.
