茂名市价格协会第一届理事大会于6月14日在茂名市召开。中国价格协会副会长、广东省价格协会会长蒋善利应邀出席会议,并作了重要讲话。茂名市副市长许木咏代表市委、市政府到会致贺词。会议审议通过了茂名市价格协会章程;选举产生了新一届理事会、常务理事会和协会领导机构。理事会由94人组成,其中常务理事31人;市物价局局长黄国维当选为会长,陈国隆、王振瑞、钟学洲、宁其新、梁异光、谭杰当选为副会长;黎金龙任秘书长,黄立平、柯恒全、戴麒麟、黄开新任副秘书长。2000年5月,经报请主管机关审批,原茂名市价格学会正式更名为茂名市价格协会,成为我省地级市成立的第一个价格协会。新当选的价格协会会长黄国维在讲话中强调,学会转为协会以后,要明确协会工作指导思想;明确协会工作的定位;吸收更多会员加入协会,发展、壮大协会的队伍;加强协会工作的探讨,打开思路,开拓前进;努力创造条件,解决协
