红其拉甫海关坐落在帕米尔高原上,所处的位置海拔4000多米,人称“中国海拔最高的海关”。1984年,它第一次迎来了一位女关员——年仅20岁的姑娘米里干。18年前进关的情景,米里干至今历历在目。1984年秋天,我从上海海关学校毕业,到红其拉甫海关工作。当我乘的车沿着盘山公路往上爬时,才真正体会到什么叫缺氧。颠簸了大约10个小时,车子停下了。随行的同志告诉我说:“米里干,我们到了。”在我的想像里,红其拉甫海关一定雄伟、威严。我兴奋地跳下车,环顾四周,却没看见一个人,更没有宏伟的建筑。这时,从对面的平房里走出几位海关关员。他们很年轻,但脸黑黑的,更显得一双双眼睛
