防止有机污染物国际大会近日闭幕,来自122个国家的代表通过了一项旨在禁止使用对人体和环境危害性极大的有机污染物的协议。根据协议,第一批将在近年内被禁止使用的有机污染物包括了12种工业用化学物质和部分农药。以后将有更多的类似物质或农药被列入禁用目录。根据会议决定。去年5月22日至23日联合国将在瑞典首都斯德哥尔摩举行一次签署这项协议的会议。如果有50个以上的国家与会签署,协议将立即生效。
The International Convention for the Prevention of Organic Pollutants recently concluded with representatives from 122 countries adopting an agreement to ban the use of organic pollutants that are extremely harmful to humans and the environment.
