1971年11月初,西安市南郊马王村地区的铜网厂与工程配件厂进行基建施工,李家翰老师刚调入我所在的西安市文物保护考古所,他一来,就准备前往工地随工进行考古发掘工作,这是西安市文物保护考古所首次具体开展考古发掘,我得知后主动请愿同他一起工作,这也是我长时间以来的愿望。李老师从北京大学考古专业毕业,后曾在西北大学考古专业任教,还曾在河南省参加考古发掘,后任西安市文物局业务副局长,我想随着李老师工作一定能学到很多知识。
In early November 1971, capital construction was carried out at the Copper Mesh Factory and the Engineering Parts Factory in the Mawangcun area on the southern outskirts of Xi’an. Teacher Li Jiahan just transferred to Xi’an Cultural Relics Archeology Office where I was located. As soon as he came, he was ready to go to the site Archeological excavation work, which is the first time that archeological excavations were carried out in Xi’an Municipal Archaeological Museum of Archeology. I learned that I volunteered to work with him afterwards. This is also my long-held desire. Mr. Li graduated from the Archeology Department of Peking University, taught in archeology at Northwestern University, and also worked as an archaeological excavator in Henan Province. After serving as the Deputy Director of the Bureau of Cultural Relics Affairs in Xi’an, I would like to learn a lot with the work of Teacher Li.
