Between 1941 and 1945, my father and General Chou Baozhong led some of the anti-UN forces to the Soviet Union and became the 88th Brigade of the Soviet Army Khabarovsk. My father was a political commissar. During this period, our family lives in the same unit with one of Comrade Kim Il Sung’s, helping each other and cultivating their offspring.
