Dendritic cells (DCs) from peripheral blood mononuclear cells plus certain antigens are considered to be a potential therapy for tumors. We have established a method for treating breast tumors using this technique. This method requires the preparation of 1 unit of mononuclear cells in autologous blood. Mononuclear cells were adhered to plastic and cultured by adding GM-CSF (50 ng/ml) and IL-4 (15 ng/ml).
