玉米反交制种技术在国内、省内早期就有应用,如:农大108(正交是178×黄C,反交为黃C×178)、滇丰4号(正交是P3×53,反交为53×P3)等。为弥补某些玉米组合制种亲本的抗性、产量,以及F1代发芽率、容重、商品性等方面的缺陷,育种家、应用商和生产企业都在探索反交制种技术,以达增产增效之目的。
