法式善是清代我国蒙古民族中屈指可数的学者兼诗人。他长于史学,尤熟掌故,能诗善文,撰著颇多,在民族文化的交流和发展方面是一位有贡献的学者。《清史稿·文苑传》中亦有他的列传。赵尔巽在文苑传的序文中说:“兹为文苑传,但取诗文有名能自成家者,汇为一篇,以著有清一代文学之盛。”①这足以说明他在我国清代文坛上所处的地位。对于这位蒙古族学者兼诗人,在我国史籍中虽有所记载,但都很简略,本文拟对他的生平、著述及其在发展我国民族文化方面所作出的贡献作初步的评介。
French good is one of the few scholars and poets in the Mongolian nation in Qing Dynasty. He is longer than historiography, and he is especially familiar with the poem. He can write poetic essays and write a lot. He is a contributing scholar in the exchange and development of national culture. His biography is also contained in Qing Dynasty Manuscripts. In the Preface of Wenyuan Biography, Zhao Erlian said: “It is Wenyuan Chuan, but the famous poetry can be self-made, Hui one, in order to have a generation of literary grand. ” ① This is enough to show him In the literary world of Qing Dynasty in our position. Although this Mongolian scholar and poet is recorded in the historical records of our country, it is very brief. This article attempts to make a preliminary assessment of his life, his writings and his contribution to the development of our national culture.
