第一,理想和信念教育是思想政治工作的核心。是社会主义精神文明建设之魂。其主要内容就是坚定对马克思主义的信仰,坚定对社会主义的信念。邓小平在改革开放之初就指出:“我们马克思主义者过去闹革命,就是为社会主义、共产主义崇高理想而奋斗。现在我们搞经济改革,仍然要坚持社会主义道路,坚持共产主义的远大理想,年轻一代尤其要懂得这一点。”理论坚定是政治坚定的前提,理论上的成熟是政治成熟的保证。在国有企业中,理论素质的欠缺是党员干部职工普遍存在的问题,理论学习对理想、信念教育具有首要意义。首先要抓好党员干部的理论学习,道理很简单,“官位”在上,上行下效。不能正其身,如正人何,为政以德,才能治国平天下。
