应用无痛的经颅部的磁刺激法对中枢运动传导时间进行估价目前已成为可能。早期的研究表明,多数多发性硬化患者的中枢运动传导时间出现延长。业已证实,中枢运动传导时间异常的程度与临床运动能力障碍的程度有关,因此测量此种异常可为锥体束机能障碍提供若干定量的估价。应用类固醇治疗多发性硬化患者,显示中枢运动传导速度明显改善。作者采用物理疗法治疗1例病情稳定的多发性硬化患者,结果表明其中枢运动传导的改变与临床改善是一致的。
The application of painless transcranial magnetic stimulation to assess central conduction time has now become possible. Early studies have shown that most patients with multiple sclerosis in central motor conduction time appears to be extended. It has been demonstrated that the extent of central motor conduction abnormalities correlates with the degree of clinical motor dysfunction and that measuring this abnormality may provide a number of quantitative estimates of pyramidal tract dysfunction. Treatment of patients with multiple sclerosis with steroids showed a significant improvement in central motor conduction. The authors used physical therapy to treat 1 patient with stable disease and multiple sclerosis and found that changes in central motor conduction were consistent with clinical improvement.
