Brodie's abscess was a rare subacute or chronic suppurative osteomyelitis in the past. Occurred in the sponge bone, such as the tibia, humerus and femur long tube, which occurred in the lower jaw were more rare. Domestic literature on the report of the disease has not yet seen; but due to the wide range of applications of antibiotics in recent years, for the treatment of acute osteomyelitis by simple antibiotics, more to change into this type, clinically more common. In the past, the disease was rarely found and was not easily recalled by the clinicians. As a result, it failed to get correct diagnosis and treatment promptly. To this end, four typical medical records observed and treated in July-September 1959 in our department were introduced below, For the fellow reference correction.
