顾廷龙先生称我为老友,这我实不敢当,因为他年长我52岁,若称我为忘年交,倒还名副其实。不过,我同顾老相识的时间也不算短了。1986年,我出差去上海,曾专门到淮海中路顾老的寓所去拜访过他,其后交往不断,算来刚好有十年了。顾老今年已是九十有四了,看上去,不仅精神矍铄,而且思维敏捷,记忆力很好。几十年前的往事,还记得清清楚楚。问到他时,还能一一道来,如数家珍。下面便举几个例子加以说明。 Mr. Gu Tinglong call me an old friend, which I really afraid, because he was 52 years old, if I call it year after year, but also worthy of the name.
