今年黔阳古城获评国家4A级旅游景区,黔阳古城将以此为契机,促进民族文化的保护与传承,加深民族文化的理解与研究,并从概念界定、民族文化旅游供给给研究、民族文化旅游需要研究、民族文化旅游影响研究的现状与展望几个方面,在不断发展的同时加大文化遗产保护和旅游景区管理工作,将黔阳古城打造成为国家一流景区和精品旅游胜地。市委市人民政府批准成立了“中国古城文化研究院湖南研究中心”。
