1983年我县桑树台乡在瘠薄的沙岗地和撂荒轻碱地种植1.5万亩龙黍16糜子,平均亩产670斤,最高的亩产800斤。为我省低产地块,低产作物创高产探索了一条新途径。其主要技术措施如下。一、选用良种增产显著这个乡过去多种植白糜子,黄糜子等老品种,混杂退化严重,抗逆性差,产量低。自从1982年引种龙黍16品种以来,使糜子的产量有了显著增加。
