福州移动通信在全国范围内率先完成了 GPRS 商用试验网的试运行工作,该成果为福州乃至福建的移动互联快速迈向3G 时代奠定了良好的基础。由此,中国移动更加坚定地确信福州移动已具备有对公众开放 GPRS 业务的能力,福州移动也将在今年4月底遵照集团计划实现这一目标。届时,手机用户可以很容易地通过 GPRS 系统享受到信息社会的例利、多媒体信息传递、设备的远端控制与维护等多样化的服务项目。
Fuzhou Mobile Communications Co., Ltd. took the lead in completing the trial operation of GPRS commercial trial network nationwide, which laid a good foundation for the fast moving of the mobile Internet in Fuzhou and even Fujian to the 3G era. As a result, China Mobile is more firmly convinced that Fuzhou Mobile already has the ability to open up GPRS services to the public. Fuzhou Mobile will also achieve this goal in accordance with the Group’s plan by the end of April this year. By then, mobile phone users can easily enjoy the information system through the GPRS system, multimedia messaging, remote control and maintenance of equipment and other diversified services.
