随着卫生事业的发展和医院改革的不断深入,医院的统计正逐渐向综合管理型统计发展。所谓综合型统计就是强化统计的管理职能,将统计与医院管理紧密结合,使统计渗透到经营管理中去,真正发挥统计在医院管理中的作用。因此医院统计工作不能仅仅停留在单纯的医疗统计水平,而是要通过现有的统计数据资料,对医院管理中出现的新问题、新情况、新动态及发展趋势进行综合分析,及时提出合理化建议,直接或间接参与医院管理与决策。
