学习篆刻是幸运的。但我学篆刻是走了相当长的弯路的。十多年间没有章法,根本不能称之为篆刻。少年时登门拜望大康先生,先生翻阅着我厚厚的印稿说:“学印是件苦差事,又不讨好,你已经刻到这份儿上了,就不要半途而废。”井题:“勇猛精进”勉励於我。后幸会天衡老师,得悉心指教方知“运用之妙、存平一心”之理。又借《中国篆刻》之便得见石开老师,评改印搞,求正当面。才知学问致广大、篆刻入精微。“从何格调论高古,一是为人二读书”的意味深长。
