在世界经济不景气与国际贸易萎缩这个大背景下,全球石油需求的增势放缓。1998年世界石油需求量从1997年的每日7370万桶微增至每日7430万桶,而世界石油需求的增长速度也从1997年的2.74％滑落到1998年的0.75％。
Against the background of the world economic downturn and shrinking international trade, the global oil demand slowed down. The world oil demand in 1998 slightly increased from 73.7 million barrels per day in 1997 to 74.3 million barrels per day, while the world oil demand rate also dropped from 2.74% in 1997 to 0.75% in 1998.
