2011年秋,由香港武林传奇赛事组委会赞助,在西安体育学院武术系的组织下,美国综合格斗战队“Team Quest(探索之队)”正式进驻中国,举办了为期6周的MMA综合格斗训练营,在那次训练营活动期间,有超过100位中国职业选手参加并接受了技术指导。可以说,当下活跃在中国MMA擂台上的知名选手基本上都是出自那届训练营。中国散打运动体系同国际先进格斗理念完美结合,堪称中国MMA发展史上一个里程碑式的事件。为进一步挖掘中国新生代MMA人才,培养出更多的MMA冠军,西安体院武术系副主任、散打金牌教练,有中国“MMA教父”之称的赵学军教授,此后同武林传奇再度联手促成了总时长超过20个月在全国独一无二的革命性训练营。2013年8月1日,西安体院MMA训练营再次开营。本次MMA训练营的
