作为信息时代发展的必然产物,新媒体是一种崭新的信息传播方式,具有传播快捷、信息完整及时尚新颖等诸多优势,在诸多方面超越了传统的传播方式。高校学生的英语自主学习正是顺应信息时代的要求,符合英语语言学习的本质特征,更有助于提高学生的英语交际能力。当前,培养学生的自主学习能力已经成为英语教学的主要目标之一。鉴于此,教师要利用新媒体辅助课堂教学,培养学生自主学习意识,激发学习英语的积极性与创造性,增强自主学习能力,提高英语教学质量。
As an inevitable result of the development of the information age, new media is a brand new way of information dissemination and has many advantages such as speedy dissemination, complete information and fashionable novelty. It transcends the traditional modes of communication in many aspects. College English self-study is to comply with the requirements of the information age, in line with the essential features of English language learning, but also help to improve students’ English communication skills. At present, cultivating students’ autonomous learning ability has become one of the main goals of English teaching. In view of this, teachers should use new media to assist classroom teaching, cultivate students’ awareness of autonomous learning, stimulate the enthusiasm and creativity of learning English, enhance the ability of independent study and improve the quality of English teaching.
