编者按:说了两期的灾难恢复,谈到的要么就是山崩地裂,要么就是飞机撞楼,其实象自然灾害、恐怖事件等发生的机率是很小的,一辈子碰上一次算是运气了。对于一家公司来说,因为自然灾害造成的数据丢失与因为软硬件故障造成的数据丢失,结果是一样的。而因为软硬件故障、人为错误以及病毒等原因造成的数据丢失占了整个数据丢失原因比率的97%。对于一些特定的行业比如金融电信行业,要实现业务的连续性,数据丢失固然是不允许发生的,即使是短时间的数据不可访问也是要尽量避免的,必须保持数据在任何时候的可用性,以及7×24的不间断;出现故障后必须在最短的时间内、用最少的人工干预迅速恢复数据的可用性。IBM的HACMP(High Availability ClusterMulti-Processing)高可用性的集群处理软件正是实现业务连续性的最佳方法。
