地方性甲状腺肿是分布较广、患病人数较多的地方病,严重地影响劳动人民身体健康。此病普遍公认是缺碘为主的复杂疾病。过去用碘制剂进行防治,获得一定效果。为了进一步探讨局部注射0.66％碘酊治疗地方性甲状腺肿的疗效及其作用机理,我们在中共本溪县委和锦州医学院党委领导下组成协作组,在本溪县高官公社选择了30例地方性甲状腺肿患者进行了治疗观察,并作某些必要的实验室检查。现将工作结果,报道如下。
