张旷成同志关心《土力学及基础工程名词》的编译工作,提出关于C_s的讨论,我们表示十分感谢,奉答如下: 在第一版(1983)《土力学及基础工程名词》的前言中已经声明,这本书的出版是“为了有助于我国土力学及基础工程专业名词和符号的统一,以利于促进这门学科的发展和国内外的技术交流”而编写的。因之,我们尽力注意所编译的名词既能合理又能与国内、国际通用的名词符号相一致。
Chang Kuang-cheng cares about the compilation of “soil mechanics and foundation engineering nomenclature” and put forward a discussion on C_s. We are very grateful to him for giving the following reply: In the preface to the first edition (1983) of “Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering Nouns” It has been stated that the publication of this book was written “in order to help to unify the terminology and symbols of soil mechanics and basic engineering in our country in order to facilitate the development of this discipline and the exchange of technology at home and abroad”. Therefore, we try our best to pay attention to the fact that the nouns compiled are both reasonable and consistent with the national and international nouns.
