[低音提琴] Double bass(英) 也叫“倍大提琴”,弓弦乐器。外形与其它提琴类乐器相似,唯身两肩成三角形,体积比大提琴还大,下端有一根支柱用以加强振动作用,竖立在地上,演奏者站立演奏。按四度关系定弦;E_1A_1DG。实际音高比记谱低八度。音色雄厚、低沉。在弓弦乐器中体积最大、音域最低,是管弦乐队的低音基础。一般奏持续音和简单乐句,弹音效果颇象鼓声,在小乐队中可以代替定音鼓。为了扩展低音音域,有时还另加第五条琴弦。“C_1”,但不常用。
