由于我国初中学生的物理知识储备还不够完善,理性思维锻炼较少,所以对于学习物理知识有一定的难度。而物理不仅仅是一门要掌握知识的学科,而且具有较难的实际操作和实验的性质。故传统、死板和固步自封的教学方式已经达不到良好的教学效果。为了更好地引导学生了解物理科学与物理知识,初中物理教师通常通过课堂实验演示或课堂实践活动的方式让学生接受物理知识,这样不仅能将知识点变得更加形象生动、趣味十足,激发了学生对于学习物理的兴趣,也成功达到了素质教育的要求,提高了初中物理教学的质量与水平。
