有声语言是人类交际的重要手段,同样无声语言也能传递丰富的信息,有时甚至是有声语言难以或无法表达的。作为非言语交际手段之一的沉默是英语课堂交际中常见的现象,同时,也是最容易被我们忽视和误解的,往往会引起交际失误。本文在关联理论和认知语境等相关知识构建的平台之上,结合英语课堂会话中师生沉默的例子,探讨其丰富含义的生成和理解机制,从而提高教学效率。
The vocal language is an important means of human communication, the same silent language can also convey rich information, and sometimes even vocal language is difficult or impossible to express. As one of the non-verbal means of communication, silence is a common phenomenon in English classroom communication. At the same time, it is also the most easily overlooked and misunderstood by us, which often leads to communication mistakes. Based on the platform of related knowledge construction such as relevance theory and cognitive context, this dissertation explores the generation and comprehension of its rich meanings in combination with the silence of teachers and students in English class sessions, so as to improve teaching efficiency.
