Flute is one of the oldest folk instruments in our country. According to research, as early as seven thousand years ago in the primitive society, our country had a bone flute like today’s whistle (Zhejiang Yuyao Hemudu unearthed, the existing Zhejiang Museum). In the Yin and Zhou Dynasties, a more complete bamboo flute appeared. Since then, according to the theory of phonology, the ancients made all kinds of flutes of various sizes (at the time the performer and the flute played three-and-a-half inches). In the Wei and Jin Dynasties, Cai Dai, Gou Wei, Liang Wudi and others produced “Twelve Lords.” During this period, there was also a vertical blown “Shun Flute” and a treble “Hand Flute”.
