六盘山阴湿山区人多地少,在地埂、沟坡、林间等可利用空闲地,选用适应性强、产草量高的多年生豆科优良牧草红豆草和紫花苜蓿按1:1比例混合播种改良。改良草地二年后平均亩产鲜草2373.7公斤,比改良前提高9.3倍,豆科牧草比重由改良前的5%—8%提高到70%以上,改良地水土流失和侵蚀量比未改前减少50%左右,土地利用率由82.5%提高到92.1%,生态、经济、社会效益明显。
