用随机、双盲、安慰剂对照法，对苦味叶下珠使血清HBsAg转阴的研究结果示：实验组的HBsAg和HBVDNA总阴转率分别达70．7％和85．2％，抗-HBs阳转率为26．8％，均非常显著高于对照组。HBsAg阴转者在治毕半年和一年后复查均未见再阳转。HBeAg阳性者和HBsAg高滴度≥1：512者疗效差。
The results of a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of the serum HBsAg negative in Bitter Beads showed that the total negative conversion rates of HBsAg and HBV DNA in the experimental group were 70.7% and 85.2%, respectively. The positive rate of HBs was 26.8%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group. The HBsAg negative conversion was not seen in the retreatment after six months and one year after treatment. HBeAg positive and HBsAg high titer ≥ 1:512 were ineffective.
