第八次全国图书馆学期刊工作会议于2000年5月23～26日在福建省文化名城泉州市召开。来自全国各地的35家图书馆学期刊的代表计40余人参加了会议。 此次会议是在我国图书馆事业面临进一步深化改革、图书馆事业处于高新技术环境、专业期刊面临着新的挑战的形势下召开的。会议的任务和目的是:总结成绩、交流经验,研讨问题并提出应对策略,以不断提高专业期刊的质量,适应事业发展的需要。 会议采取大会重点交流发言和分组讨论相结合的方式,既从较 The Eighth National Library and Journals Work Conference was held on May 23-26, 2000 in Quanzhou, a famous cultural city in Fujian Province. More than 40 representatives from 35 library journals from all over the country attended the conference. The conference was held under the situation that the cause of library in our country is facing further deepening reform, the library is in a high-tech environment, and the professional journals are facing new challenges.
