非接触式超声流量计具有优于其它型式仪表的特点。现在其测量准确度和重复性也有了提高。它的压电式传感器可装在管道内,也可装在管道外。相对传播式仪表通过测量上下游超声波脉冲的传播时间求得流速、流率、总流量等。它更适用于洁净液体,测量准确度和重复性好,但价格较高。多普勒式仪表通过测量超声信号频率的变化求得流速、流率、总流量等。它更适用于污秽液体,价格较低。目前厂家正致力于提高相对传播式仪表对污秽液体的测量准确度和多普勒式仪表对洁净液体的测量准确度。
