The outsourcing period was 10 years, setting a precedent for “managing outsourcing.” By 1999, businesses globally spent $ 116 billion on outsourcing services, and more notably, the nature of outsourcing services has undergone major changes. Accenture conducted a survey of 26 organizations that used outsourcing services globally, of which 65% established synergies with professional outsourcing partners. Through collaborative outsourcing, the costs of these businesses have fallen by an average of 50% over the past 10 years, while businesses have seen significant improvements in competitive skills, service levels and the ability to respond to market changes.
