天然粉石英(硅土)不需碾磨,可直接获得高纯粉末状石英。除宜春和礼陵两地外,近两年又陆续在湘东、赣南双丰发现。粉石英是硅质岩风化的最终产物,然而风化作用通常不可能使全部硅质岩都变为粉石英。因此,粉石英矿体是由粉石英(硅粉)和其风化解体不完全的硅质岩残块(硅沙、硅石)组成的综合地质体。其化学组份含SiO_2一般达96～98%,铁氧化物含量0.05～0.5%。这是一种高硅低铝、不含钾钠而微含钙镁有害杂质低的矿物原料。利用粉石英的这些特征,把它作油漆中的体质颜料,可增强油漆的耐磨性能。其生
Natural powder quartz (silica) without grinding, can be directly obtained high purity powdered quartz.
