据报道,我国台湾工业研究院化学工业研究所开发成功几种新型特殊玻璃,其作用是:(1)可替代大理石作建筑装饰材料这种玻璃外观如同大理石一般,颜色变化及耐酸、抗压性均已超过天然大理石,而且可以变化形状,完全可以作为大理石的替代材料而进入建筑装饰市场。(2)制作现代厨房炊具材料这种玻璃具有低膨胀性能,用于制作各种微波炉灶中使用的玻璃碗、盘碟、盆等器皿,十分走俏。其耐高温、强度等性能均比陶瓷器
