莫言在话剧《我们的荆轲》中,借用传统框架,融入现代内涵,寄托了他对于现代社会和自身命运的思考。莫言重新塑造了荆轲形象——他功利而庸俗,故意刺秦失败,谋取最大的利益。功利的荆轲感到迷茫和痛苦,清醒却消极的燕姬,神秘又飘逸的高人,引导荆轲逐步觉醒,使他认识到自身的渺小。荆轲、燕姬和高人,分别象征着生命的不同层面,融合在一起成为一个完整的生命体。觉醒后的荆轲最终依然走向既定命运,只能通过精神上的觉醒得到
