原忠县土主庙前双阙因在宋代阙上还残留有“汉都尉丁房”的铭文,长期以来被误以为是丁房墓前之阙。本文通过对宋代著录的相关碑阙资料的梳理,认为该阙原本不是一对,它们是宋人从忠县城外搬来的墓阙,明末将不同墓主的两座残阙拼凑成一对放置在土主庙前。并且提出和论证了土主庙前左阙为严永家族墓阙,右阙为曾经见诸文献记载的江原长墓阙,江原长就是孝子严就的新看法。
