同中国一样,日本很早就产生了这样那样的忌讳词。这主要是反映了科学不发达时期,人们为了免祸招福,对某些有损于自己利益的词汇,尽量避开,另找一些没有刺激性的或喜庆的语言来代替它。
Like China, Japan has long had such taboo words. This mainly reflects the period of underdevelopment in science. In order to avoid perils and misfortunes, people try to avoid some of the words that are detrimental to their own interests and find some non-stimulating or festive language instead of it.
