质子旋进式磁力仪系利用核磁共振原理测量地磁场的仪器。这种仪器配置两套亥姆霍兹线圈后,不仅可以测量地磁场的总强度,而且还可以测量水平和垂直分量。仪器的最高灵敏度为0.1γ,测量范围:20000~65000γ,地磁场总强度的测量精度优于0.3γ,水平和垂直分量优于1γ。本文扼要地叙述了仪器的基本原理,设计要求,关键部件的特色,台站实验结果。我们提出了闭合误差的概念,作为仪器测量精度的判据,测量仪器的瞬时均方差,以表征测量的重复性和可靠性。
Proton precession magnetometer is the use of nuclear magnetic resonance principle of measuring the magnetic field of the instrument. With two sets of Helmholtz coils, this instrument measures not only the total strength of the geomagnetic field but also the horizontal and vertical components. The maximum sensitivity of the instrument is 0.1γ, the measuring range is 20000 ~ 65000γ, the measurement accuracy of the total magnetic field strength is better than 0.3γ, and the horizontal and vertical components are better than 1γ. This article briefly describes the basic principles of the instrument, design requirements, the key components of the characteristics of the station experimental results. We propose the concept of closure error as a criterion for the accuracy of the instrument and the instantaneous mean square error of the instrument to characterize the repeatability and reliability of the measurement.
