2008年9月28日,贵州省委、省政府召开了“毕节试验区、安顺试验区成立20周年总结大会”。大会总结的经验吸引了全国很多民族地区关注,人们回眸这两个试验区走过的20年道路,都会由衷感到科学发展观指导下带来的奇迹。毕节试验区和安顺市试验区是在时任中共贵州省委书记胡锦涛同志亲自倡导和推动下建立的。21年来,在党中央、国务院的正确领导和亲切关怀下,在中央和国家机关各部门、各民主党派中央、全国工商联以及社会各方的大力支持与帮助下,试验区各族干部群众按照省委、省政府的部署和要求,创新思路、深化改革、大胆探索,试验区的面貌发生了历史性的变化。
