获一九七六年诺贝尔物理奖的丁肇中先生,在瑞典举行的发奖宴会上,发表了一个用中文书写的简短发言,指出“自然科学理论不能脱离开实验的基础,特别是物理学是从实验产生的”。他希望,发展中国家的人们,要“注意实验工作的重要性”。就是以理论物理研究成果而荣获诺贝尔物理奖的李政道、杨振宁先生,近年来也多次告诫国人:要重视科学实验。科学实验的兴趣、能力宜从小培养。在这方面,许多诺贝尔奖金获得者教育子女的经验,值得我们学习。
